Clinical 1 @ Holy Family Hospital

Yeah~~~ waited for so long, my clinical practicum finallystarted!!!

11/1/2005-1st day @ Holy Family:
Mary was our preceptor today. She showed us around the hospital and gave us a whole pack of materials...again, something to read, but it's always better to have things written for me instead of by mouth u know. First day is slow, we mostly observed what Mary is doing and it was kinda hard for her to show to 3 of us at the same time. So sometimes it's like she is only talk to one of us at a time...finally lunch time, and alas, we survived the 1st day.

11/2/2005-2nd Day @ Holy Family:
2nd day came a lot easier than the 1st day. Time went by way faster!!! coz we can now practice charting, nutritional screening, and writing chart notes on our own. Mary had to check our writing before we can actually write them on the pt's medical record. Carlee got a little bit upset when Mary kept changing her notes, but Chadband and I both think that it's just becoz different people have different styles in writing chart notes, so it's not her fault. So Far, i like it here!!! Keep the good work Kitty!!

p.s. people like my name "Kitty" and my ducky pencil in my lab coat pocket...hehe
pps. I like myself wearing tht white lab coat...feel "sexchi"!! =p
